Asylum application
You can download your certificates in your personal space. If you can’t find them or have a problem, contact technical support using our contact form.
The Prefecture is responsible for issuing ATDAs to individuals submitting an asylum application at the single asylum‑seekers’ reception desk, and for renewing them for the duration of the processing of this application.
If your asylum application has been rejected, you may, in some cases, appeal the decision before the National Court of Asylum (CNDA) within the deadline stated in the decision.
If the rejection becomes final, you may lose certain benefits related to your asylum application and receive an Obligation to Leave French Territory (OQTF).
If you wish to return to your country of origin, OFII can assist you through the Voluntary Return Assistance programme and, in some countries, through Reintegration Assistance.
If you choose voluntary return, OFII arranges and covers the cost of your travel. You will also receive financial assistance. For more information, see the page “Voluntary return: making your decision.”
If your situation changes (address, income, birth), contact your local regional OFII office.
